COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES |
Below we have detailed the steps, updates, and new policies that the gym will have during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to add items to this list as needed.

Per NYS mandate, each member must fill out a health screening questionnaire before entering the gym through our online booking system. This will allow us to monitor capacity, and streamline the mandatory health screening process for members.
HOLDS
We will be updating our hold policy to include a $5 monthly fee and the minimum hold term will be increased to one month. However, for now limits will be lifted, meaning that you will be able to place an long term hold on your membership which can be done through your Member Portal or on the GymMaster Member app. Membership hold fees will be charged on the 15th of each month. If your membership was placed on a complimentary extension please remember this will end on December 1st. It will not be extended automatically. If you wish to extend your hold further you must take action.
LOCKERS, SHOWERS, SAUNA, AND BATHROOMS
Due to the NYS guidelines, the facilities upstairs, including the lockers, showers, sauna, and bathrooms, will remain closed. We are working on a strategy to get the upstairs open ASAP. In the meantime, we encourage you to come to the gym in your workout clothes to minimize crowding in our waiting area. The bathroom downstairs is fully operational and can be used for changing if needed. If you currently have a rental locker, you will be permitted to remove your items during staffed hours, and we will remove your locker rental from your membership.
MASKS
Per NYS mandate, masks that cover your nose and mouth must be worn 100% of the time when working out at Ignite Fitness. Please be aware that this will be strictly enforced. Members will be given one warning if they are not adhering to this mandate. A second warning will result in membership suspension or cancellation. We understand this is a divisive issue, but this rule must be respected for us to remain open.
