About Keith Walker

Keith Walker brings over 20 years of experience as a personal fitness trainer in New Paltz, NY, helping clients of all ages achieve their health and performance goals. He holds multiple IFPA certifications, including Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer, Program Design Specialist, Sports Medicine Specialist, and Strength and Sports Conditioning Specialist.

Training Philosophy

Keith works with a wide range of clients, from student athletes seeking a competitive edge to adults looking to build strength, improve endurance, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. His training philosophy focuses on education, ensuring every client understands the mechanics and benefits of their workouts. Each session is designed not just to improve physical fitness, but to enhance overall quality of life.

In addition to his work as a personal trainer, Keith is a USSF Licensed Soccer Coach with more than two decades of experience developing competitive teams in the Hudson Valley. His training programs have helped countless motivated athletes prepare for collegiate-level competition.

When Keith isn’t training clients, you can find him staying active through soccer, tennis, hiking, biking, and skiing. A graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, Keith combines academic knowledge with real-world training experience to deliver results-driven fitness coaching.

​Schedule your free intro session in the member portal. Outside of the free intro sessions, all IGNITE Fitness trainers operate independently.  Therefore, all payments and scheduling should be done directly with your trainer.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • As a courtesy to our team and other members, please allow 24 hours notice for cancellations.
  • Cancellations/rescheduling requests that occur less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in forfeit of your intro session.  Cancellation of private sessions will incur a fee according to each trainer’s policies.
  • Late arrival will shorten your appointment time.
  • Cancellation/rescheduling requests should be submitted to your trainer directly.
  • Arrival fifteen minutes or more after appointment time will be considered as a “no show” and all cancellation/rescheduling policies will apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Use of non-Ignite trainers is prohibited.
  • Members may not train other members.
